SP Cabinet Instructions
![]() Press "ON" to turn on the system. ![]() The red light indicates that the system is turning on. ![]() Once the red light goes away, the green light will remain on. This means the system is active and ready to use. ![]() To control volume use the volume buttons that are shown below. They are located to the right of the on/off buttons. ![]() ![]() Laptop Operation To the left of the on/off buttons you will notice different inputs. ![]() To use your laptop, please select "LAPTOP." ![]() Plug the VGA cable into the VGA port on your computer. The VGA cable will either be coming out of the system, or, will be tucked away in the drawer in the system. If the cable is not permanently attached to the system, connect one end of the cable to the back of your laptop, and the other end of the VGA cable to the VGA input on the control panel. If you have a small size laptop or a Mac, you may need to provide the appropriate VGA adapter. ![]() DVD Operation To use a DVD, please choose "DVD." ![]() Press the open button on the DVD player and then insert your DVD. ![]() To control playback of your DVD, please use the panel located on the top right corner of the system as shown below. ![]() ![]() VCR Operation To use the VCR please select "DVD/VCR" (or VCR on some units) then insert your VHS. ![]() To switch between DVD and VCR on the DVD/VCR combo unit please select the DVD/VCR button as shown below. ![]() In order to eject your VHS press the button shown below. ![]() To control playback of your VHS, please use the panel located on the top right corner of the system as shown below. ![]() ![]() Auxilary Video To use a camera, iPod or other external device with the system please select "Auxilary Video" ("External Input" on some systems) on the control panel. ![]() Then connect your RCA cable to the auxiliary port shown below. You will need to provide the necessary cables. ![]() Please turn off the system when you are finished. Press the "OFF" button shown below. ![]() Student technicians are available on each campus to assist with any problems you are encountering.
