Classroom Accessibility

The DCS classroom search feature contains accessibility information for our general purpose classrooms. Most of our classrooms meet standards set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act. When we build new classrooms, our goal is a universal design that exceeds accessibility code in terms of physical design, audio and visual attributes, and more.

There are some classrooms in our more historical buildings that are not fully accessible. We, in partnership with the Office of Disability Services, work to ensure that courses are scheduled in rooms that are accessible to all students who are registered in that course. Any student that has an accessibility concern should contact the Office of Disability Services, ideally as soon as they arrive on campus, to ensure that accommodations are made seamlessly.
