Master Course List (MCL)
The Master Course List includes all approved courses that may be offered on the Schedule of Classes.
Current Master Course List
The MCL can be searched and viewed on the Course Scheduling System (CSS) website. When searching, the results can also be downloaded as a .csv file using the prompts at the top of the webpage.
MCL Form
The MCL Form allows schools to add, drop, and change courses that their departments offer to students.
For departments that would like a new course approved for an upcoming semester, it is best to begin the approval process as early as possible.
Departmental representatives can fill out the Master Course List form and work with your school dean’s office to obtain approval. Information about the course that is necessary to complete the form include:
- Course number
- Course title
- Prerequisites/Corequisites
- Core Codes
- Whether the course will be offered on a per semester basis
- Description of course
- Other special notations
