Faculty and Instructor Teaching Availability (FITA)
FITA is the system for instructors and departments to include teaching availability preferences within the course scheduling process.
How FITA Works
Faculty and instructors use this system to indicate when they prefer to be available to teach.
Departments and schools may review the preferences entered by their faculty and enter block-off times, and Faculty Affairs may enter block-off times based on medical and religious accommodations.
During the production cycle, the data from FITA is imported into CourseAtlas 2-3 times.
For access to or training for FITA, please contact our department.

Access to FITA
All faculty and instructors should automatically have access to FITA using their NetID. Departmental schedulers can add instructors manually if necessary.
For school and departmental administrative access to FITA, please complete the OASIS Systems Access form and email it to our department at sched@echo.rutgers.edu.
