The conference room located in the Digital Learning Commons provides advanced technology to host sophisticated and seamless meetings. Using Cisco Webex Codec Plus, our conference room delivers unmatched video and audio experiences. The conference room is equipped with two Samsung TVs, two table microphones, and Cisco Spark Room Kit Quad Camera. Two whiteboards offer space for guests to conveniently take notes when necessary and the room also has an adjustable podium.

These rooms are equipped with audiovisual equipment including cameras and greenscreens to allow students to capture professional-quality video of their presentations at the push of a button. It is available for use by Rutgers students, faculty, and staff with a valid NETID and RUID card. The studio does not require users to have prior video production knowledge. Lighting, audio, and video configurations have been pre-set for ease of use.

Also known as the “Red Room,” this is the energy center of the Digital Learning Commons, an innovation space where industry, campus partners, and students can come together to explore new ideas. The Pitch Room provides students with an area for collaboration. There is a monitor that is great for projecting presentations and videos to a larger audience. This is a great place for guests to work on group projects or study together.

At the top of the grand staircase that faces the main entrance of the building (the entrance facing away from Livingston Plaza, and towards the Livingston Ecological Preserve), the mezzanine has soft seating, as well as various tables and chairs. It is a common meeting place for students on their way to and from class.

The James B. Carey Library is located inside the Labor Education Center on the Douglass Campus, which is one of the homes of the School of Management and Labor Relations. The library features group study tables and lounge chairs.

The Livingston Computing Center is on the first floor of Tillett Hall and is the main computer lab for the Livingston Campus. The lab has a main area, two classrooms that can be reserved for classes or meetings, and three breakout rooms with eight, eight, and six seats, respectively. The lab has Mac and PC options, and color and black-and-white printing.

Mortensen Hall is a showpiece building on the Douglass Campus housing the Mason Gross School of the Arts. Its lobby offers various types of seating in a space where tall windows let in plenty of natural light. In addition to the ground floor seating, there is also a balcony on the second floor with additional seating. The lobby is home to Cafe '52, where you can get coffee and other food and drink, and a charging station for various devices. Settle in hear to study, take a break, or ease drop on one of the many rehearsals or concerts that take place on this part of campus.
